    Am in Mumbai at work - felt slight tremours a few minutes back... quite mild but felt my chair rocking for sure.. heard there was an earthquake in indonesia - quite amazed by the far reaching impact!!

    In Penang, Malaysia very serious my Neighbour house all shampoo drop from high level to the floor. The chair rocking, the tv moving to face another side. Look like serious, dunno how ppl at Indonesia?

    About half an hour ago, felt a huge earthquake while in office The whole building started swaying. We are in Calcutta, Kidderpore area, very near the second bridge (Bijon Setu). People rushed down the staircase. While running down, we felt the building still shaking. We stood outside for twenty minutes and the ground continued shivering for at least fifteen mins. After the tremor was over, we returned to office. Now Indian Ocean wide tsunami warning has been issued. We are almost at the midpoint of 2012; much has been predicted about this year ..... News reports say this earthquake measured 8.6 on the Richter Scale. An Indian Ocean wide tsunami alert has been issued. Hope this isn't the beginning.
